After studying acting at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch", he became a member of several leading German-speaking theatre companies, including Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schauspielhaus Zürich and Schauspiel Köln.
His screen work includes Pablo Larraín's "Spencer", Boudewijn Koole's "Hokwerda's Kind" and a wide range of German film and television productions.
Kohrt works in German and English and is based in Berlin.
