Biography

Jay is a composer based in Brooklyn, NY and is particularly interested in projects set in and around the metro area. He has worked with Academy Award Winner Sean Baker (Greg the Bunny, Anora), Pamela Adlon (Babes), Marc Meyers (How He Fell in Love, My Friend Dahmer), and Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith (Legally Blonde). His music can also be heard in IBM's "Watson and Me" series of commercials featuring Ridley Scott, Serena Williams, Bob Dylan and the late Carrie Fisher. Jay is a graduate of Tufts University (BA), and The New England Conservatory of Music (MM), and frequently collaborates with his former classmate Ryan Miller of the band Guster.
