Biography

Rubén Prieto received his Bachelor's Degree in English Modern Philology from UCLM. Later he completed a Degree in Film and TV Screenwriting at the TAI University School of Arts in Madrid. In 2003 he began his career as a filmmaker, working both for other productions and on his own projects. "5380" is his seventh short film as a screenwriter and director, after "Vasectomy" (Vasectomía, 2003); "The lake house" (La casa del lago, 2005); "A love story" (Una historia de amor, 2007); "Regeneration" (Regeneración, 2009); "The perfect man" (El hombre ideal, 2011) and "The driver" (El chófer, 2014).
