Biography

Ayanda Nhlangothi was born in KwaMashu, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. She is known for Sarafina! (1992), The Wife (2021) and Idols (2002).

A singer since the age of 12, she is a member of the famous South African Nokwe family, which includes her grandfather Alfred D. Nokwe, and her aunt Tu Nokwe.
