Andrea Stefanci (formerly credited as Andrea Stefancikova) is a Slovak-Canadian actress and filmmaker, recognized with the "Star to Watch Award" at the 2019 Whistler Film Festival for her performance in Promiseland. She is best known for her standout roles in acclaimed indie films Below Her Mouth, Unmasked, Dark Harvest, and NBC's sci-fi series Debris. In 2023, Andrea made her Slovak-language debut in the hit crime-comedy series Výnimocná Nikol (Excellent Nikol), the local adaptation of the French sensation HPI: Haut Potentiel Intellectuel. Born in Bratislava, then part of communist Czechoslovakia, Andrea discovered her love for the arts early through dance, piano, writing, painting, and singing. After immigrating to North America in 1998, she trained in acting in her early twenties and fully committed to the craft in 2011, transitioning from a modeling career. Since then, she has steadily built a dynamic body of work across independent film and television. A natural polyglot, Andrea is fluent in English, Slovak, Italian, and Czech, with a strong command of multiple accents. Her ability to shift seamlessly between languages-including frequent use of Russian on screen-adds depth and versatility to her performances.
