Author, Illustrator and filmmaker Wil Petty was born in 1969 in Titusville Florida. Wil began producing local TV at the age 20 for a local access cable provider in Melbourne Florida, Wil later worked as a TV writer, director and editor for independent TV stations, creating commercials for Florida regional accounts. By the late 1990's he began independently producing infomercials for central Florida auto dealers.
Wil has written and directed several short film projects, including "The Haunting of Misty Creek" and "Harvester" as well as the animated short commercials. Later, Wil worked as a graphics designer and illustrator for a major apparel supplier and a creative director for an online retailer.
Wil is also game designer with (Rocket Dog Games) as well as a creator of children's picture books and family entertainment (Animateer Studios).
