Her play, "Thark" was performed at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith, London, England with Griff Rhys-Jones, Hugh Lloyd, Dinsdale Landen, Eva Griffith, Linda Polan, and Belinda Lang in the cast.
She was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours List for her services to Children's Literature. She is a writer in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.
