Biography

Mark's father is an artist. His sister has a degree in fashion design. His brother Michael is a sculptor and his brother James is a software engineer. Mark's great grandfather was a Catholic priest in Calabria, Italy. Both sides of his family are from Calabria so even though Mark was born in the USA, he and his siblings are Calabrese.

He grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin, one block from comedian Jeff Cesario. Mark got his BFA and BSEE from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee as did Oscar winning special effects supervisor Jim Rygiel. Mark and Jim also both graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Kenosha.

Mark is president and founder of Splashtastic Productions which provides screenwriting, movie proposal, and project development services.

Mark wrote, produced, and directed the comedy short "The Wallet." It is a smaller, shorter prototype of the episodes in "The Wallet" comedy series.
