Biography

Kostas Makedonas is a Greek singer whose career spans several decades in contemporary Greek music. He began performing while studying at the University of Macedonia and moved to Athens in the late 1980s, releasing his debut album in collaboration with composer Stamatis Kraounakis and lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou. He went on to record fourteen personal albums and participate in numerous releases by other artists, working with leading composers and lyricists of Greek song. Makedonas has collaborated extensively with major figures of the Greek music scene and has appeared in acclaimed musical theater productions, including a stage work dedicated to Mikis Theodorakis. Alongside his musical career, he also works professionally as an airline pilot and flight instructor.
