Rob Eric

Biography

  • Rob Eric is an Emmy Award winning television producer, film producer and author who has developed and created media for screens large and small alongside producing partners Michael Williams and David Collins for over ten years. He has produced for networks such as ABC, CBS, ABC Family, Bravo, HGTV, OWN, HBO, SONY, and Netflix, among others, with work ranging from interview and documentary series to makeover series to game shows. More recently, he has also developed scripted series with partners such as Sony Pictures Television, Left Bank Pictures, Flower Films, and Court Five Productions.

Rob comes from an eclectic creative background, having previously worked in graphic design, advertising and music production, even winning a Juno Award in 2004 for Best Dance Recording for "All Things", the theme song for the Emmy Award winning Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. As an executive producer of the DGA Award-nominated The Quest (ABC), Rob was key in conceptualizing and executing a living, breathing fantasy world from scratch while still working within the format of a reality competition series. He has executive produced numerous series, including The Outdoor Room with Jamie Durie (HGTV), The Antonio Treatment (HGTV), Tacky House (Style), and the scripted series Sordid Lives (Logo). Additionally, Rob is an author of high fantasy, including the trilogy The Last King, published in 2015.
