Biography

Harry Bridges was born on July 28, 1901 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He was a writer, known for From Wharf Rats to Lords of the Docks (2007) and Bill Moyers' Journal (1972). He died on March 30, 1990 in San Francisco, California, USA.

Head of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU).
