Starting out, Rios worked as head writer and producer for the Imagen Award winning music channel, LATV while developing and producing Se Habla Rock for MUN2, a division of NBC/ Universal. In 2006, Rios began casting reality TV working with networks including TLC, MTV, Telemundo and VH1.

In 2011, Marcial Rios Salcido went back to producing and developing reality television with Gordo Entertainment. Currently, he is producing for The Dr. Phil Show on CBS and finishing his new film, Killer Queen.
