Khalid Rivera(I)

Khalid Rivera is an accomplished actor and chart-topping recording artist whose work spans across screen, stage, and music. Raised in New York City, Khalid was immersed in a vibrant mix of cultures, forging connections with diverse people and finding his path into the entertainment industry. He began his career on Broadway in The Capeman (produced by Paul Simon) and Juan Darien (directed by Julie Taymor). His talents have since graced iconic stages, including Carnegie Hall, and he has had the honor of singing the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden. Khalid is deeply grateful for his early successes and, most of all, for the unwavering support of his mother, who championed his dreams.

Khalid's musical journey took off with remarkable speed. His debut singles, Every Nite and Salvation, garnered international airplay in clubs and on radio. Salvation hit #1, and Every Nite claimed the top spot for three consecutive weeks on LOGO TV. After securing a successful record deal, he went on to self-release Who Do U Love, which charted in the top 20 worldwide and reached the top 10 in the USA Songwriting Competition for Best Dance/Electronica Song. Following this success, Music Plant Group signed him, and his single Enough Is Enough topped the charts and earned a nomination for Best Dance Artist at the Indie Music Channel Awards.

Though his music career flourished, Khalid's passion for acting called him back to the screen. He believes in the power of exploring multiple creative outlets, and since returning to acting, he has secured notable roles on hit shows like Russian Doll, Pose, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Broad City, as well as lead roles in film and theater. His ultimate goal is to contribute to thought-provoking, inspiring work that sparks conversation and of course, brings laughter to audiences everywhere.
