- Mick Fitzgerald was born in Dublin and started entertaining at an early age. He is an established recording artist with several credits for singer/songwriter, 'Light Sleeper' is his solo CD on his own label "Mogg Records" (distributed by Claddagh Records in Dublin and through his website www.mickafitzgerald.com). He is also credited with writing music for several film projects. He has appeared in many films and TV programmes over the years both in Britain and Ireland. He is a full member of British & Irish Equity.

- His description of King Arthur in Pinewood studios was used in the book "The Pinewood Story" by Gareth Owen which was reissued in October 2006.
