Biography

Rayya Elias was born on April 16, 1960. She was a director and writer, known for Anonymous (2004), The Lunchroom (2006) and We Are All Angels. She died on January 4, 2018 in New York City, New York, USA.

In September 2016 it was reported that she was dating her best friend of 15 years Elizabeth Gilbert - Gilbert only realized that she was in love with Elias after Rayya was diagnosed with incurable pancreatic and liver cancers. Elias died on January 4, 2018 aged 57.
