Harold Mantell was born in 1921. He was a director and producer, known for E.E. Cummings: The Making of a Poet (1988), The Creative Person (1966) and The Inner World of Jorge Luis Borges (1969). He was married to Marianne Mantell. He died on August 12, 2006 in New York City, USA.
