Jaymee Joaquin was born on July 27, 1979 in San Juan, Philippines. She was an actress, known for A Love Story (2007), My Big Love (2008) and Kutob (2005). She died on October 18, 2023 in California, USA.

In October 2016, she was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and was treated for it at the UCSD Moores Cancer Center in San Diego, California, in 2017. In 2018, she had an early metastasis and had been on preventative treatment since then. On October 18, 2023, she died from breast cancer in California at the age of 44.

Was part of ABS-CBN Star Magic, an artist management firm owned by ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation.

She popularized the line "Kabagang!" (Filipino word that means a close companion, ally, or partner) from the daily midnight show Games Uplate Live that she anchored from 2006 to 2009. She was nominated as "Best Game Show Host" for the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards in 2007 for the show.
