- Although born in Sydney, Australia to Irish Rocker Doc. Neeson (of the Angels) and New Zealand's Suzy Pointon, he grew up in the USA in Ohio and moved to New Zealand when he was 14.
- He is also an actor and has appeared in many TVCs and short films from the age of five. Aidan is also the lead singer and co-producer of the New Zealand/London based Electronic band "Oblique".
