Biography

Nicole Jones-Dion is a filmmaker and screenwriter known for telling elevated genre stories that blend character-driven drama with bold, imaginative world-building. She began her career in comics and video games before moving into film and television, writing features for the SyFy Channel, Lionsgate, and Sony-including an adaptation of the best-selling martial arts game, Tekken. Most recently, she was a staff writer on the FOX spy drama "The Interrogator" starring Stephen Fry and Jenna Elfman.

An Army Brat who grew up in places as varied as Hawaii and Germany, Nicole eventually landed in Wilmington, NC, where she earned the North Carolina Writer's Award, which granted her a full scholarship to Duke University. There she studied Creative Writing, History, and Theology. After graduation, she served briefly in the U.S. Army before returning to her first love - telling stories.

Outside of writing, Nicole is passionate about service-volunteering with the National Park Service and advocating for military veterans in the entertainment industry.
