- Emmy Award-winning sound and radio artist Jeff Jacoby has produced, directed and performed radio, video, and audio programs since 1975. Jacoby has served on the faculty of San Francisco State University since 2006, and at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, the advisory board of The Media Arts Center in New Haven, CT, and the Digital Audio Project at Real Art Ways in Hartford, among other appointments. Ongoing projects include audio art projects, public radio programs, sound design for video, The Traveling Radio Show, and video/sound activist art installations. In addition to his Emmy, Jacoby has been awarded two Cine Golden Eagles, five Broadcast Education Association awards, two Benjamin Franklins, two Crystal Radios, the Gold Cindy, and grants from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts, SF State, and the CSU Entertainment Alliance.
