Biography

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Alec joined the military out of high school, served for five years, then went back to Columbus and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies and Production.

Alec's first feature film, entitled Jack's Habit, was distributed by Brentwood Home Video in 2005. Alec wrote, produced, directed and starred in that film. Alec then went on to create several award-winning short films. Alec also starred in the 2006 feature, Horrors Of War as the dreaded Captain Mitchell.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Alec has worked with Penny Marshall (Laverne and Shirley, Big, A League of Their Own), Colleen Camp (Apocalypse Now, Clue, Election), Argonaut Pictures (Welcome to the Rileys), Rainstorm Entertainment and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Alec has several projects in various stages of development with studios, reputable companies, and a couple legendary producers. You can watch his latest film, The Best Man, on Hulu.
