Biography

Hans-Joachim Stuck was born on January 1, 1951 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany [ex-West Germany]. He is an actor, known for V8 - Du willst der Beste sein (2013), Formula 1 (1950) and Legends of Speed (2015).

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: March (1974 (12 GPs)-1975 (5 GPs)-1976 (16 GPs)-1977 (1 GP)), Brabham (1977 (14 GPs)), Shadow (1978 (14 GPs)) and ATS (1979 (12 GPs)). He started 74 Grands Prix, 2 Podiums and 29 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 11th in 1977.

He won the World Sportscar title in 1985.

He won 24 Hours of Le Mans two times: 1986, 1987.

Teammates in Formula One were: Howden Ganley, Vittorio Brambilla, Lella Lombardi, Ronnie Peterson, John Watson, Giorgio Francia and Clay Regazzoni.
