Biography

In her childhood, she was bullied and called "negra" or "ulikba." In the Philippines,negra is feminine form of black, a Spanish loanword, while ulikba is used colloquially or derogatorily as a slang term to describe a dark-skinned person.

Her father is from Ghana and her mother is a Filipina. She never met her father. She only later learned about her father through the internet. He passed away in 2019.

She grew up as an adopted daughter. Her adoptive mother, Juanita, adopted her from her biological mother when she was just two months old. She was the youngest in the family of seven adopted siblings.

A nursing graduate but she never practice it.
