Grant Sullivan(II)

Grant Sullivan was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He is the youngest of 5 boys and the son of a steelworker. Grant's critically acclaimed solo show Shadowboxing dealt with growing up in Pittsburgh during the 1970s and 80s. Shadowboxing directed by his teacher and mentor Sal Romeo was nominated for an Ovation award for Best Solo Show and shortly afterwards Grant was invited into The Actors Studio as a Lifetime Member. Grant formed a friendship and studied under Mark Rydell, Martin Landau and another mentor and friend Barry Primus. Grant went on to act in several original Actors Studio productions Bad Hurt on Cedars Street directed by Salome Jens, All Good Soldiers in the West Wind directed by James Eric. He also worked with Al Pacino and Seamus Dever on the play Orphans in collaboration with The Greenway Court Theater and The Actors Studio. Grant went on to co-write with Omari Hardwick the Solo Show, HerO. HerO was performed by Omari in Brooklyn NY.

Grant is working with show-runner David Wiener and writer Sam Besser on turning Shadowboxing into a series called Steeltown.
