Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona in 1973.

Dad was a notable narc cop whose cases included the real life basis for "21 Jumpstreet". Mom was a homemaker who resembled Liz Taylor and Carol Brunett. Cory is the youngest of 3 siblings, two older sisters. Colorado State House of Representatives Candidate, 2022.

Married 2002-2015. 3 kids.

Wrote "21" aka "Witness Protection" starring Wayman Tisdale. Holds credit claim of writing Spike Lee's "He Got Game".

Authored over 20 books including Justin Time, Witness Protection, Boys of Summer, 4 biographies (21 Memoirs, The FAithful, Repeat After Me, The Cornerstone of Arizona Basketball), How To Make Gospel Movies People Want To See OMG!, and the Kevin Sorbo Presents Hercules' Bible Adventures novella trilogy.
