He is the drummer for the band Interpol, getting his start with the band in 2000, when he replaced their original drummer Greg Drudy. Samuel has also played in other bands: the Holy Terrors, Gus, the Wahoos, Napoleon Solo, the Ton-ups and the Last Night. Samuel has been playing drums since age 13. Samuel is of Italian descent.
