- Melody Klaver is an award-winning Dutch actress, known as one of the most versatile and standout talents of her generation. In 2019, she received the Dutch Academy Award (Golden Calf) for Best Actress for her leading role in the international feature Rafaël.
Melody started acting at a young age. At just fourteen, she received a Golden Calf nomination for Best Actress for her role in the art-house film Diep (2005). After graduating from the Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2014, Melody was awarded the Kemna Award for Most Promising Actor in the Netherlands and Belgium at the ITS Festival.
In recent years, Melody starred in productions such as Judas II (2022), Het Gouden Uur (2022), and Nood (2021 - 2023). Melody also released her debut novel, Een doodgewone nachtvlinder: with a slightly unusual story. There are plans to adapt the book into a film. Since 2023, she played leading roles in the international futuristic series Arcadia (2023 - ) and the crime thriller Incognito (2023). Followed by the mini-series Een moord kost meer levens (2023) and the new drama series Zussen (2024- ). This year Melody will be seen in the 2nd season of Zussen and the feature film Koude Kant (2026) directed by Johan Nijenhuis which will have its theatrical release in the fall.

- Born to Patricia, who owns a clothing store, and Laurens Klaver, who works as a photo-editor.
- Used to model in commercial ads since early childhood.
- Has several stage experience. As an 11-year old she performed in the the '101 Dalmatiërs' Musical. As a 12-year old she performed in the Dutch Musical 'The Sound of Music' as 'Brigitta von Trapp'.
- At the age of 16. Her boyfriend for 13 months, Timo Smeehuijzen, was killed by a suicide-attack (bomb car) during his military service in Afghanistan June 2007. Only two weeks after his 20th birthday.
- In 2006 Melody got nominated for a Golden Calf (the Dutch Oscars) for her leading role in the movie 'Deep'. With the age of 14, she became the youngest Nominee ever in Dutch history. In 2007 she won the Tudor Award for her leading role in 'Deep' at the Filmfestival in Genéva.
