Biography

Josh Melrod is known for his editing work on Skunk (2014), a Cannes Film Festival winner, The Last Class (2025), Mind Over Murder (2022), and numerous other narrative and documentary features and television series. His projects have screened at major festivals, including Cannes, Sundance, SXSW, TIFF, among many others, and been broadcast on HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and PBS. Josh's debut feature Major Arcana (2018) won the best director prize at the 2018 Ischia Film Festival, and was theatrically distributed by Kino Lorber and acquired by Showtime. Prior to working in film he edited an award-winning literary magazine. He splits his time between Vermont and New York City.
