José Antonio Camacho Alfaro is a legendary Spanish football manager and former professional player, widely regarded as one of the most iconic figures in Spanish sports history. Known for his fierce competitive spirit, tactical discipline, and passionate leadership, he earned 81 caps for the Spain national team as a tenacious left-back, representing his country in two FIFA World Cups (1982, 1986) and two UEFA European Championships (1984, 1988). At the club level, he spent 16 seasons at Real Madrid, anchoring the defense of the famous Quinta del Buitre generation and winning 19 major titles, including 9 La Liga trophies and 2 UEFA Cups.Following his retirement as a player in 1989, Camacho transitioned into a highly successful and globetrotting coaching career.
