Biography

John Berlinski grew up in upstate New York, attending Pittsford Mendon High School. He received a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University, followed by his JD from the University of Michigan Law School.

Post-graduation, John began his professional career as a litigation attorney for the global law firm O'Melveny & Myers LLP.

In 2006, John Berlinski took on the position of SVP & Head of West Coast Television Litigation for NBCUniversal. In this role, he handled all litigation and pre-litigation disputes involving NBCUniversal's West Coast division. He remained with NBC until 2013, when he took an opportunity with his current firm as the Head of office and chair of entertainment law.

John represents a variety of clients including television and theatrical talent, musicians and music copyright owners, agencies, and theme park owners in their most significant disputes, with an emphasis on litigating profit participation and licensing disputes.

He resides in California.
