Biography

Britt Allen is an Australian-born, conservatory-trained actor whose work spans film, television, theatre, and national commercial campaigns. She recently completed a season with the New Mexico Shakespeare Festival, portraying Hermione in The Winter’s Tale. She trained at The Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne (a leading Australian conservatory) and continues her training with renowned acting teacher Jessica Cummings in New York City. Her screen work is particularly suited to complex, formidable women, with a natural facility for Southern villains, high-level executives, wealthy socialites, and gritty, deeply grounded characters. Before pursuing acting full-time, she worked as a professional dancer. A fourth-generation cattle farmer, Allen grew up with a strong connection to the land.
