Biography

Nikoletta Karra is a Greek actress and television presenter. She studied Greek Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens before graduating from the Drama School of the Theater of Changes, beginning her acting career while completing her studies. She made her television debut in 2001 with a guest appearance in the series To berdema (2000), followed by roles in Oi stavloi tis Erietas Zaimi (2002) and Epta thanasimes petheres (2004). She gained wider recognition with her role as Maria Papadopoulou, a gymnast involved with Sakis Boulas' character, in the popular comedy series Peninta-peninta (2005), in which she appeared across several seasons. She subsequently took leading roles in the series An ypirhes tha se horiza (2007) and Me ta pantelonia kato (2013), and became known to a broader audience through her long-running role as Tatiana Pappa and Athanasia Benaki in Oi symmathites (2014). She later starred in the Cypriot series La Pasta Pomilori (2017), appeared in Oso eho esena (2018) and Min psaroneis (2019), and competed in Dancing with the Stars (2010) and Just the Two of Us (2010). Her later television credits include To avrio mas anikei (2021), Afti i nyhta menei (2022), O Skaravaios (2024) and Mama sta kryfa (2025). Alongside television, Karra has maintained an active theater career, appearing in productions such as "I theia ap' to Chicago", "Ena votsalo sti limni", "Antres etoimoi gia ola" and "Ti travame ki emeis oi manes", for which she received the Rena Vlachopoulou Award for Best Actress in a Comedy in 2019. She has also appeared in the films 180° moires (2010) and To pouli tis Kyprou (2014).
