  • American actress Ariana Dubynin, of Russian/Irish decent, earned a degree in Chemistry before moving to New York to pursue acting. After studying Strasberg at NYU, she moved to LA. After several smaller films, she landed the title role of the romantic comedy "Amanda". Following a three year hiatus to be her mother's caregiver, she has returned to Los Angeles to continue her career as an actress.

  • While in school, Ariana worked as a research chemist for McNeil Pharmaceuticals doing drug metabolism, and was published for her work in a pharmaceutical journal. She was then promoted to work in the department of international research and development focusing primarily on formulation and stability of children's Tylenol overseas.
  • Provided the screams for killings of the sorority girls in the 2006 version of Black Christmas.
  • Originally passed on the title role of Amanda, because her mother was sick, but producer Steve Marra wouldn't take "no" for an answer and flew to Philly to convince her. With the encouragement of her mother, and the help of Steve, Ariana shot the film and had an amazing experience. Her mother was able to see the film on the big screen before she passed away. She was very proud.
  • At 15, Ariana began taking fencing lessons at the University of Pennsylvania. She studied with Olympic coach Maestro Lajos Csiszar, who told her that she had "killer instincts".
  • Wrote a screenplay called "Little Girl Blue" that won runner-up at the 2010 Great Lakes Film Festival.
