Daniel was born in Monroe, LA. He studied English and Theater at The University of Louisiana at Monroe. He is known for his work on Majestic, Vicky and Sam and A&E Cold Case Files. After living in Los Angeles for several years, he moved to Austin, TX, to work as the lead singer and guitarist for the American Folk/Rock band band, Eugene Christopher. The music of EC was used in the award wining short, "Vicky and Sam", by Nino Rocha. Daniel was also asked to play a lead role in the short in which he accepted. Vicky and Sam was viewed over a million times and received positive feedback from critics around the globe. Daniel moved back to Los Angeles shortly after the release of Vicky and Sam. Since then Daniel is a regular performer on many stages in the Los Angeles area and has appeared in commercials, TV and film.

Daniel's Grandfather Ray Wyles was an American Singer/Songwriter. He was widely known in Northern Louisiana, Southern Arkansas, Western Mississippi, and some parts of Texas. In addition he was a spokesman for Norris Sugar Cane Syrup showing his smiling face on their labels. Ray was also the first Police Captain of West Monroe, LA and served in the Police force for many years.
