Emmy-winning (and six-time nominated) director, producer and editor, Jody McVeigh-Schultz, was raised near Philadelphia and attended USC to study Film/TV Production. A filmmaker since 2006, he specializes in documentary explorations of crime, sports and comedy. His latest directorial work, three-part absurd true crime romp Cocaine Quarterback, recently premiered on Amazon Prime and won the Emmy for Outstanding Sports Documentary Series. Before that, he was director and exec producer for Amazon doc series Spy High, which won the Audience Award at SXSW 2025. In 2023, he was showrunner of season one of Amazon's acclaimed series, Shiny Happy People. In 2021, he directed and show-ran HBO's Emmy-nominated doc series The Murders at Starved Rock. He's also been nominated for Emmys for his editing work on Drunk History, Mcmillion$, and Cheer, and is known for his work on Peacock's Paul T. Goldman, Netflix's Hulk Hogan: Real American, Breakdown: 1975, Last Chance U, Wrestlers, and animated comedy Big Mouth. In 2016, he wrote and directed the indie narrative feature, Echo Lake.
