Bruno di Marcello (Caserta, Italy, 1973), screenwriter, movie director (the drama "A heretic in the ward", the documentary "Cercando Bernadette" the slasher "The terrace", the comedy "Engagement party", the thrilling "Darkness surrounds Roberta", the zombie movie "ChristmaZ") and TV director ("The shadow line", Rai2, famous serial killer's stories; "Giorgio Almirante from'RSI to'MSI, historical documentary). He started working in Italian cinema as Assistant director in the movies "Il tuffo" directed by Massimo Martella, with Vincenzo Salemme; "Il manoscritto di Van Hecken" directed by Nicola De Rinaldo, with Barbara D'Urso.

Bruno di Marcello transfers in Rome in 1991 to work in Cinema. His first job is as Assistent director in movies like Il Tuffo, by Massimo Martella with Vincenzo Salemme and Carlotta Natoli and Il Manoscritto di Van KHecken by Nicola De Rinaldo with Barbara D'Urso. He attends screenplay lessons with Ivan Cotroneo and Bernardino Zapponi (Fellini, Dino Risi and Dario Argento screenwriter) and graduate in History and Critics of Cinema in 1998. His shorts begin receive prizes in various Festival and Bruno begins working in the field of ADV and Television as assistant director and then director for many Tv shows of Italian Tv Network Rai. After many experiences as line producer, screenwriter and director for direct to video films, he realizes his first movie per the screen in 2020, A Heretic In The Ward, based on a best-seller book with Ninni Bruschetta and Ciro Scalera. 3 years after he shoots the documentary Cercando Bernadette with Alberto Maggi. The two movies are distributed by DNA film distribution and are on Amazon Prime Video. His 3rd full length movie is in post-production, a ghost-movies titled Whispers.
