AGC Studios' EVP of Non-Fiction Content, BJ Levin, is a two-time Emmy-winning showrunner, executive producer and development executive who most recently was showrunner of FX's breakout hit HIP HOP UNCOVERED. He served as the senior vice president, development and original programming at NBCU and original showrunner of VICE on HBO which garnered eight Emmy nominations over his four-season run, winning in 2014 for Outstanding Informational Series. Levin made his first documentary feature, No One Dies in Lily Dale, for Sheila Nevins and HBO and has served as executive producer, showrunner, producer and director for several networks including A&E, Bravo, BBC, Discovery, Food Network, FX, HBO, HULU, MTV, National Geographic, Netflix, TLC and VICELAND. At MTV, Levin won his first Emmy for producing Made in 2008.

BJ Levin is a two-time Emmy Award-winning showrunner, executive producer, and development executive with two decades of experience creating, selling, and producing original content across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. Known for his work in the premium nonfiction space, Levin has built a career delivering high-impact, culturally resonant programming that spans documentary, docu-series, reality, competition, and hybrid scripted formats.

He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Documentary and Factual Content at Legendary Entertainment, where he oversees a diverse slate if feature documentary's and docu-series.

Previously, Levin served as Executive Vice President of Nonfiction at AGC Studios, where he executive produced the Tribeca-premiering documentary Transition and NOBU. Earlier, as Senior Vice President of Development and Original Programming at NBCUniversal's Wilshire Studios, he helped shepherd series for major networks and streamers, including The Business of Drugs (Netflix), and A Wilderness of Error with Errol Morris (FX).

As a showrunner and executive producer, Levin's credits include the FX breakout Hip Hop Uncovered and multiple Emmy-winning seasons of VICE on HBO. BJ produced his first feature documentary No On Dies in Lily Dale for Sheila Nevins at HBO. He began his career producing Made for MTV, earning his first Emmy Award, and has since delivered acclaimed projects for HBO, FX, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Peacock, National Geographic, Discovery, Food Network, SYFY, USA, VICE TV and MTV.

Before his entertainment career, he worked as a high-risk investment banking analyst, a foundation that informs his disciplined approach to budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
