Biography

Richard Solarz is a Polish/Swedish filmmaker, screenwriter, cinematographer and producer. He migrated to Sweden in 1969, studied at the London International Film School (1975-1978), and was recruited by Swedish National Television SVT in 1979 as cinematographer and editor. Solarz has produced a large number of international documentaries often about what happens to people when they move/escape to a new country.
