- Joe Leonard is an editor and director known for shaping character-driven, cinematic storytelling across film and television. A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, he has collaborated with Ryan Murphy, Lee Daniels, Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, Sam Esmail and Blake Crouch. He began his career in post-production working with Danny Leiner. Leonard wrote and directed the independent feature How I Got Lost and has directed for Fox’s Star starring Queen Latifah. He is a member of ACE, MPEG, and the DGA, and a co-founder of We Make Movies, a Los Angeles film collective. Originally from St. Louis.
