Eleni Tsaligopoulou

Eleni Tsaligopoulou is a Greek singer known for her distinctive presence in both the entechno and laiko music scenes. She began performing professionally in the mid-1980s after studying classical singing in Thessaloniki and soon attracted attention through collaborations with leading figures of Greek music, including Manos Hatzidakis and George Dalaras. Her early recordings helped establish her as one of the notable voices of the generation that shaped the modern entechno movement of the 1990s. Among her most recognized albums are 'Koritsi kai gynaika', 'Arzentina' and 'Agapimeno mou imerologio'. Throughout her career she has explored a wide range of musical styles, blending contemporary songwriting with strong influences from Greek folk and traditional music. In addition to her recording work, she has appeared in major concert productions, theatrical performances and musical tributes, building a long-standing reputation as one of Greece's most respected interpreters of modern Greek song.
