Prior to that, he was a partner and Head of Motion Picture Literary department at A3 Artists Group from 2020 to 2024, Head of Motion Picture Literary department at Paradigm Talent Agency from 2014 to 2024, and an agent at CAA from 1989 to 2013. His father was legendary film producer and talent agent Jay Kanter, who represented Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroe.
