Sebastian Stoppe was born on April 3, 1978 in Helmstedt, Lower Saxony, Germany. He is a producer and director, known for Schattenspiele (2005), Bis zum letzten Moment (2008) and Auf einer Odyssee (2010).

Studies communication and media studies and political studies at the University of Leipzig, Germany.

Brother of Franziska Stoppe.

Co-founder of the La Marée Filmproduktion GbR production company.

Holds a M.A. degree in communication and media studies and political studies.
