Lucie Kon is the Executive Producer of the BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated feature documentary Mr Nobody Against Putin, and Executive Producer of the Emmy Award-winning documentary We Will Dance Again. As Commissioning Editor at BBC Storyville, the BBC’s international feature documentary strand, she oversees the commissioning and acquisition of ambitious feature documentaries for BBC Two, BBC Four and iPlayer. Her executive producing credits also include One in a Million and Deborah James: Bowelbabe In Her Own Words. At Storyville she has led major acquisitions including Navalny (Oscar and BAFTA winner), Beyond Utopia (Sundance Audience Award winner; BAFTA nominated; Academy Award longlisted) and Hollywoodgate (Academy Award longlisted). Previously Executive Producer at BBC Panorama and Zinc Media, she has overseen complex investigative and international productions. She mentors filmmakers internationally and speaks and moderates at leading documentary festivals and industry forums.
