- Rosa Castro was born on December 1, 1906 in Caracas, Venezuela. She was an actress, known for Death Flight (1934), El que murió de amor (1945) and Más allá del amor (1946). She died on November 1, 1994 in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
- Began doing secondary parts in Mexican films from the early 1930's to the mid 40's.
- Had two sons with Journalist Alberto Manrique Páramo.
- Never worked in films in the United States.
- Began working as a Journalist in Mexico in 1938 writing a column for the Excelsior newspaper.
- Changed her name officially to Rosa Castro in 1915 when she, her mother and sister went to Cuba.
