Sophie Bould

Sophie Bould is a British actress known for A Woman of Substance (2026), The Hack (2025), Call the Midwife (2024), Grantchester S9 (2023) and Sex Education S3 (2021). She trained at the National Youth Theatre prior to her three year degree course at Mountview Theatre School. Following graduation Sophie worked in theatre and played the lead role of Cinderella in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical of the same name at Bristol Old Vic, leading to subsequent roles at London's Regent's Park Theatre including Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Lady Mortimer in Henry IV Part 1.
Sophie's stage work continued with parts at the National Theatre, a season at Chichester Festival Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, UK national tours and originating the role of Liesl in The Sound of Music revival at the London Palladium (2006).
Sophie also appeared in a short film Waving (2022) alongside Ralph Ineson - directed by Rolfin Nyhus
