Chahat Khanna is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films and television. Khanna originates from Mumbai, Maharashtra, where she began her career at the age of sixteen. Her first professional engagement was in a Cadbury's advertisement directed by Pradeep Sarkar in 2002, marking her entry into the entertainment industry. The same year, she made her television debut with the show "Sachi Baat Sabhi Jag Jane", establishing her presence in Indian television.

Khanna's film career commenced with "7½ Phere", followed by her appearance in "The Film" (2005), a thriller that revolved around the lives of struggling film artists. She gained significant recognition for her television work, particularly through her portrayal of Ayesha Sharma in the popular Sony Entertainment Television series "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" and Nida Beg in "Qubool Hai". Her character of Ayesha Sharma in "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" was particularly well-received by audiences, contributing to the show's success during its run from 2011 to 2014.
