Biography

Mike Dobbins was birthed in West Virginia. He is a NYC based comedian who has performed at Rififi, Piano's, Caroline's, Stand-Up NY, New York Comedy Club, The Magnet Theater, UCB Theater, The P.I.T., Sak Comedy Theater and colleges. He is also an actor who has been seen in independent films and shorts, as well as in national commercials for KY, Tampax and Poise Pads.

Improvised briefly at SAK Comedy Theater in Orlando, FL after finishing their Improv program, then moved to NYC to do stand-up comedy full force.

Performed in semi-finals for "The Andy Kaufman Award" in the New York Comedy Festival 2005.

First character role to study for in a elementary school play was the lead role of E.T. in "E.T's 1st Christmas". Bought soundtrack record, practiced dialect to record, nailed the role but lost a "Speak & Spell" prop.
