Pablo Casacuberta, 1969, Montevideo, Uruguay. Filmmaker, writer and visual artist. He was awarded the National Literature Prize from Uruguay twice. Has published nine fiction books and directed three feature-length films. He has received a Clio and was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Video category. He directed second unit scenes and images for Alfonso Cuarón, Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu and Terrence Malick. Director of GEN Center For Arts And Sciences, Uruguayan institution created to produce interdisciplinary projects in order to build bridges between Art, Science and Technology.
