Gabe Barnett(II)

Gabriel Barnett is a New York City-based filmmaker, cinematographer, producer, and writer. A graduate of Wesleyan University’s Film Studies program, he is a co-founder of Can’t Swim Productions, an independent production company focused on narrative and documentary filmmaking. Barnett wrote and directed the short film Loop-Us and created, co-wrote and produced the short film Smile, George!. He has also worked as a cinematographer and producer on projects including Leaving the Garden and Two Blue Herons. His work often centers on intimate, dark humor, and personal stories.
