- Balázs Juszt was born on December 9, 1982 in Budapest, Hungary. He is a writer and director, known for The Man Who Was Thursday (2016), Split Perfect (2012) and What If? (2016).

- He graduated from UCLA's Producers Program.
- He is mentored by Roger Birnbaum of Spyglass Entertainment.
- He studied film producing under Academy Award-winning Cathy Schulman and Barbara Boyle, Peter Guber and David Hoberman among others and received an MFA degree in Producing from UCLA.
- At age 17, he interned in the U.S. House of Representatives where he wrote speeches for Congressman Tom Lantos. He later wrote a comic autobiography about his experiences there, which was published in Hungary. This scored him a writer position on a retro comedy series.
